The new Ram 1500 is primed to perform at a high level, and its integrated hardware helps you complete various tasks. Legendary towing power of 12,750 pounds is available while handling a maximum of 2,300 pounds of payload. You shouldn't have any problems with trailering small boats, ATVs, heavy objects, and other vehicles. Four-Corner Air Suspension is built into the crew cab models. Several powertrains, including a 5.7-liter V8 producing 410 pound-feet of torque and 395 horsepower, are available. There's also a 3.6-liter V6 that produces an estimated 273 pound-feet of torque and 305 horsepower. Its maximum towing capacity is listed at 7,730 pounds.
The Rebel trim is designed for off-road fun thanks to its terrain-worthy features via lifted suspension and Selec-Speed Control. Conquering muddy terrain or harsh environments is possible when sitting behind the wheel. The truck's Trailer Reverse Steering Control comes in handy while backing up via its shift knob and system controls. There's also an active air dam that automatically extends to reduce drag when approaching 30 mph.
Interior Presence
The new Ram 1500 goes further by seating five people in its comfortable cabin. Impressive craftsmanship is present, from the fine stitching to the wooden decor. The truck's Dual-Pane sunroof boasts ten square feet of viewing pleasure while letting in plenty of natural light. Fine upholsteries like vinyl and cloth are incorporated for comfort. Higher-end materials like Natura and Bristol leather are also available per model choice.
The interior stands out with its 45.2 inches of legroom for rear seat passengers. The rear seats have a recline function for added value. This truck also offers a center console that accommodates a 15-inch laptop and hosts reconfigurable compartments. The new Ram 1500 provides a noise-free drive thanks to active noise cancellation. This includes frame-mounted mass modules that effectively drown out road noise. Good ergonomics are present within the cabin thanks to the well-structured front seats and steering wheel-mounted controls. In addition to that, the truck has in-floor storage bins to secure your personal belongings.
Other Features and Functions
The new Ram 1500 has a multifunctional tailgate with split swing-away doors for convenience. When folded down, the tailgate withstands up to 2,000 pounds of pressure. Loading and unloading isn't an issue, and there's a trailer hitch light that comes in handy at night. One of the top automotive features for this pickup is its RamBox Cargo Management System. Tools and other devices are stored here, equipped with a power outlet.
Many high-quality features are ready for use, starting with a 12.0-inch driver display that yields valuable information and 3D graphics. There's a 12.0-inch touchscreen that's customizable via five different profiles. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay operate wirelessly. SiriusXM radio delivers a plethora of news, talk, and sports channels. This truck also has turn-by-turn navigation, wireless phone charging, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
